Things to you may or may not care to know about me...

1) I am an avid traveler.

2) Turning forty sucks. Turning forty-one is going to suck even more.

3) If you haven't ever done a home exchange, YOU MUST. I've been to Australia, France, Corsica (also technically France), Ireland (twice), Canada, and several weekend get-aways in my home state.

4) I've always wanted to learn how to sew.

5) I'm completely obsessed with interior design.

6) House Hunters International is my favorite show, followed by Downton Abbey and Game of Thrones.

7) Flea markets and thrift stores make my pulse quicken.

8) Someday I will live in Europe.

9) According to my PJStatTracker spp, I've seen a certain band live in concert 24 times, but if I included Eddie Vedder solo shows, I am up to 38 (on 3 continents, in 9 countries & 17 different states)…and counting! ;)

10) I have a thing for empty frames, glass bottles, floral patterns and all shades of white.

11) I take my coffee black with no sugar.

12) I think skunks are adorable. 

13) Cantaloupe makes my teeth hurt.

14) If I could go everywhere barefoot, I would. 

15) I hate cords.

16) The smell of lilies makes my skin crawl.

17) Sushi? Everyday? Yes, I could.

18) I don't mind doing laundry, but despise folding clothes or putting them away.

19) Black licorice is disgusting.

20) Root beer is even more disgusting.

21) I can count on one hand how many times I've been to a movie theatre in the last 10 years.

22) Someday I want to magically find myself in a Jane Austen novel.

23) I recently discovered the magic of vinyl records.

24) I've carried the exact same purse every single day since June 2011.

25) I own more scarves than should be legal.

26) I hate to bake.

27) I could eat pie for breakfast every single day.

28) I bite my cuticles.

29) Peonies make my giddy.

30) Roses and hydrangeas are a close second to peonies.

31) I do enjoy laying in the sun. And yes, I know the risks of skin cancer.

32) Men's boxers make the best pajama pants.

34) I hate sand. But the beach is pretty.

35) I own three bras: one black, one white and one nude. 

36) I could not survive without Trader Joe's.

37) I live at least 2,000 miles from any of my family.

38) I have a black thumb.

39) If I never had to shave my armpits or legs again, I would jump for joy.

40) I've never seen an episode of Jersey Shore, the Kardashians, or any of the Housewives of {fill-in-the-blank-city}.

41) I have a thing for Polaroid cameras and instant film.
